Professional Tip of the Day: The Line Between Professional and Personal
It is possible to have a professional and personal relationship with someone, but don’t confuse the two. Making friends with coworkers makes work more enjoyable, comfortable and can stimulate creativity. However, it is always risky when you get too comfortable with coworkers; you might talk more than you work and get both of you in trouble, or you could become the victim of sabotage by someone you trusted, which could put your job in jeopardy. It’s nice to have a support system at work, but always remember that work comes first and to maintain a professional relationship at all times.
