Rotaract Mentor/Mentee Program

Interested in an opportunity that lets you connect with other members in Rotaract on a more personal level? We’ll pair upperclassmen with lowerclassmen to help us grow together as a club through mentorship, fellowship, and fun! If you did not fill out a survey at the general meeting, please download the survey here, fill it out, and e-mail the updated PDF back to [email protected]. Meet Your Mentor / Mentee Event – Friday, February 24th, 8:00 PM @ Davis Commons

If you’ve signed up for the Mentorship Program, check your e-mail for info about your Mentor / Mentee and come out to the Davis Commons to meet him / her as well as mingle with the 46 other Rotaractors in the program!

Rotary Trivia Night – Thursday, February 23rd, 3:00-10:00 PM @ International House (10 College Park Dr)

Shifts from 3:00-5:00 PM, 5:00-8:00 PM, 8:00-10:00 PM

Spend an evening at the International House serving and helping the local Rotary Club with their trivia night.

Freakin’ Awesome Friday – Friday, February 24th, 4:00-6:00 PM @ Student Community Center

Continue helping with spreading awareness of Agent Orange by making bracelets and sharing them with your friends.

Duck Days Festival Clean-up – Saturday, February 25th, 4:00-5:30 PM @ Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area (45211 Road 32B)

Join us in the clean-up effort after this day-long festival! We need eight volunteers.

Shamrock ‘n’ Run – Sunday, March 11th, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM @ Sacramento, CA

We are gauging interest for this event. Come volunteer as course monitors for the Fleet Feet Shamrock ‘n’ Half Marathon! Help with the starting line, finish line teardown, sweat check spots, aid stations (fluid stations), water and medal distribution.

FINANCE – Shoot an e-mail to [email protected] for any questions regarding fundraisers and all that money business!

Mondavi Event – Friday March 2nd, 4:45-10:00 PM @ Mondavi Center

Come help us and have a great time working at the concessions stand for this Mondavi event! There is a formal dress code of white, buttoned-down shirt, black slacks and closed-toed shoes. We need at least 12 people, five of whom must be 21 and over.

Relay for Life – Saturday, April 14th – Sunday, April 15th

Join our Relay for Life team today! Cost to register this quarter is $10, but will go up to $15 in spring quarter.

Arboretum Hangout – Sunday, February 23rd, 2:00 PM @ Arboretum (Meet behind Mrak Hall)

Join us for a hangout at the Arboretum! Bring footballs or soccer balls, or any snacks you’d like to share for the picnic we’re having! We hope to see you there!

The Washington Program gives students from all majors the opportunity to intern at one of hundreds of organizations in our nation’s capital, including internationally recognized research facilities, medical institutions, federal and state agencies, and non-governmental groups.

International Project: Make Agent Orange History

We will be supporting non-governmental agencies who help fund early detection, prevention and education for the disabled. They also provide critical services to the poorest disabled children in Vietnam, including those affected by exposure to Agent Orange/dioxin. In addition, these agencies provide direct assistance to help those affected find jobs, attend school, and attain prosthetic devices.
