Charity Dinner – A “Baby” Big Night: Postal Love: From Me to You

Campus Rotaract Club is proud to present its first ever charity dinner!
This dinner provides an opportunity for Rotaractors (current and alumni) and Rotarians from Davis as well as District 5160 and 5170 to come together for food, entertainment, and, of course, an evening of fun for a wonderful cause.All the proceeds will be donated to our annual project: Baby Packs.
Saturday, April 27th, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., @ Saint Martin’s Church (on H street)
Help prepare food for low-income and homeless individuals and families, set up the dining hall, serve meals, and clean up the kitchen and dining hall at the end of lunch. A great way to help and connect with our local community!
Pioneer Elementary Explorit Science Center
Thursday, May 2nd, 5 p.m.-8 p.m. @ Pioneer Elementary School
Pioneer Elementary school is organizing a family science night at Pioneer Elementary School, in southeast Davis. This event is open to kids of all ages and their families and involves a collaboration between the Explorit Science Center, which provides ~15 different hands-on learning stations, and community members who talk with the kids at each station to facilitate learning. They need 15-20 volunteers to make this event work!

Have some unwanted clothes, electronics, textbooks, music, arts & crafts, or knick knacks lying around? Bring them to our fundraiser for charity:water, where they would be sold at the Davis Flea Market!! We can’t do this without your support, so ALL your contributions count 🙂 Drop off your items with an officer during our next general meeting or even at FAF!
Come out to another awesome Mondavi concession and support the performing groups. This may be our last Mondavi depending on your interest, so it’s your last chance to get in on this year’s fill of Mondavi’s and represent Rotaract!

Youth Programs Camp Instructors SAIII
Date and Time: Application Deadline May 15th
Description: Summer camp from June 17-August 16. Provide experiences that encourage leadership development through 3 different pathways. Must be CPR/AED certified.
Assistant II – Trimmer Lab
Date and Time: Deadline May 7
Description: Intern position with the Department for NPB. Student research and maintenance of laboratory supplies. Great opportunity to gain some essential experience under a lab while getting paid.

Whenever sending an email to a faculty member or potential employer always fill out the “To” recipient last to prevent sending out an email prematurely. This will allow you to proofread it and make sure you don’t accidentally hit the “Send” button when trying to attach a document.
