Rotary Japan Relief fund – at General Meetings

Come and donate $2 to receive a bracelet that will go towards helping those affected by the Japan earthquake. Find an officer or donate at a general meeting. 100% of donations will go to the Rotary Japan Relief Fund.

Raffle Tickets – Saturday, May 14th @ Central Park

We are selling raffle tickets for the Rotary BBQ. They’re $10 each and the proceeds will go towards helping our club function, socials, and events. Some prizes include: Hawaiian Vacation (6 days and 7 Days) in a 3 bed, 2 bath house in the Big Island // $300 Gift certificate // Skydiving // and much more. Contact the Finance Directors if you’re interested.

Board Meetings – Monday, May 16th [7:10pm] @ Moss Room (3rd floor MU)

Board meetings are open to the public. Come to learn more about upcoming events and be a part of the planning process.

Picnic Day Volunteers Surprise

Freakin’ Awesome Friday – Friday, May 13th [4-6PM] @ The Colleges at La Rue (164 La Rue Rd.)

Come help us put together and finish off Baby Packs where we will combine some of our past FAF projects like blankets. It’s a fun way to end the week. :]

Rotary BBQ – Saturday, May 14th [3-5PM; 5-7PM; 6:30-8:30PM] @ Central Park

Come help us make the annual Rotary BBQ a success! We’ll be managing the volunteer booth, playing carnival games with little kids, and just having fun in the sun. Free BBQ if you volunteer for two hours! (:

Day on the Green – Saturday, May 21st [8AM-12PM; 12-4PM; 4-8PM; 8-10:30PM] @ Wildhorse Golf Club (North Davis)

Help the Davis High School Blue and White Foundation with their annual Day on the Green! It’s a golf tournament that will end with a concert. All proceeds will go to the foundation.

FINANCE – Shoot an e-mail to [email protected] for any questions regarding fundraisers and all that money business!

Staff Appreciation Lunch – Wednesday, May 11th [10:30-11:30AM; 11:30AM-12:30PM; 12:30-1:30PM] @ Hutchison Field (by the ARC)

This will be a fun catering event — it will be full of games and happy UC Davis staff!

Pinkberry Fundraiser – Thursday, May 12th [4-9PM] @ Davis Commons

Enjoy some yummy frozen yogurt with your friends and fellow Rotaractors! See an officer for fliers.

Car Wash – Sunday, May 22nd [11AM-3PM] @ Savemart Parking Lot

Help us wash some cars and raise some funds for both ourselves and ISV! It’ll definitely be some fun in the sun.

Rotary BBQ Social – Saturday, May 14th [8:30PM] @ Quickly’s and Slide Hill Park (meet at Central Park)

This event is to continue the festivities after the Rotary BBQ. We are going to get some boba (tapioca) tea at Quickly’s and then proceed to the Slide Hill Park, where there are numerous fun slides.

Guess that Rotaractor Icebreaker – Tuesday, May 17th @ the General Meeting

End of the Year BBQ –Sunday, May 22nd [3:30-5:30PM] @ Oxford Circle Park

Come enjoy a fun social to end the year! There will be Thai Kabobs as the main dish. As well as options of Frisbee, golf practice, playing on swings, and rope structure.

End of the Year Potluck – Tuesday, May 31st @ Last General Meeting

Come enjoy good company, food, end of year slideshow, and awards! Bring a side, drink, or dessert.

This panel is for anyone interested in pursuing a career in law. Come by, this Thursday, with questions to ask practicing attorneys.

Guest speaker: Larry Frederick – Tuesday, May 17th

He is going to speak about his cause – Give Blood. He bikes across the United States to raise awareness for donating blood.

Medical Mission: Ethiopia! – September 1st-11th

Help provide medical care and community health education to people in Ethiopia. You will get a chance to work under experienced physicians as you participate in patient diagnostics and post-op care. This experience will be one of those stories you tell your grandkids. For more information, email [email protected]
