International Service Projects

Every year, CRC Davis takes on multiple international service projects.

The first project, which we do every year, is called Baby Packs. For this project, our members hand sew bibs and put together care packages for new mothers in Brazil. All of the donations and proceeds from our annual Baby Big Night go towards Baby Packs. To learn more about Baby Packs, contact our service directors at [email protected]

Our second project changes every year. For the 2019-2020 year, we have decided to donate to Charity: Water, a global nonprofit project dedicated to bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing countries. To learn more about Charity: Water, you can visit their website at https://my.charitywater.org/.

We also collect money every year for Rotary’s amazing social cause, End Polio Now. We collect money through Happy Coins, our way of collecting change while expressing what we’re currently happy about, at every general meeting to go towards vaccinations for children in the two countries where polio still remains: Pakistan and Afghanistan. These vaccinations only cost around 60 cents and has the ability to save many lives so every penny makes a huge difference.
